What is carboxytherapy?

Carboxytherapy consists of the injection of carbon dioxide in its gaseous state under the skin.

Where is it born?
​
The use of Co2 dates back to 1930 in the thermal waters of Royat, France for medicinal uses, such as ulcers, psoriasis and varicose veins among others.
What are the uses of carboxytherapy?

How is it applied?
With a specialized device helps to expel the gas through a small tube that is connected to a needle of the finest (insulin needle), through the application of these needles with a slight sting per area injected gas under the skin, if the gas is cold can be painful, it is better when applied with a special device that heats the gas, this way it is much less annoying for the patient.

How does it work in my body?
